Taste the craft
that Austin
remembers.
Small-batch beers brewed on-site, fresh artisan bread pulled from our hearth oven, and a sun-drenched garden where every pour feels like coming home.
Born from soil,
brewed with purpose.
Kamala Gardens Brewery started with a simple conviction: the best beer begins long before the kettle — it starts in the soil, the climate, and the hands that tend the land.
Nestled in South Austin, we pair small-batch brewing with a working bakery and an open-air garden. Every stout, lager, and sour is crafted in-house. Every loaf is baked on-site before dawn. This isn't a brewery with a kitchen attached — it's a garden, a bakery, and a taproom working as one.
Our Current Brews
Rotating selections from our taproom — seasonals, core favorites, and limited releases. All brewed in-house, all served cold.
Garden Haze IPA
Tropical citrus forward with a soft, hazy finish. Brewed with Centennial and Mosaic hops from Texas-grown crops.
Obsidian Porter
Rich chocolate and espresso notes with a velvety mid-palate. Aged on vanilla beans from a local Texas farm.
Desert Sun Lager
Crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable. A Czech-inspired pilsner lager that captures the warmth of an Austin afternoon.
Wild Garden Sour
Farm-fermented with wild yeast strains from our garden. Bright berry acidity with a dry, lingering finish.
Citrus Hefeweizen
Classic Bavarian wheat beer with a twist — finished with Texas grapefruit and a hint of coriander.
Hill Country Gose
Salty, tart, and refreshing. Brewed with local sea salt and wild lime from the Texas Gulf Coast.
Bread baked
before sunrise.
Our bakery opens at 4 AM every morning. Stone-milled flour, wild sourdough starters cultivated for years, and a wood-fired hearth — that's all it takes.
Every loaf is baked in-house and served alongside our beers. From a crusty country sourdough to a honey-oat batard, each one is designed to complement the flavors in your glass.

Our 2-acre garden space is where the brewery meets the landscape. Shade structures, fire pits, and rows of herbs and flowers that find their way into our brews.
